Serving Santa Barbara for 20 years
Our team of designers, developers, SEO and marketing consultants at Ameravant Web Design have been helping Santa Barbara businesses and non-profits grow for the past two decades. We’ve worked on projects of all sizes, from solo artists to multi-location corporations.
Your Virtual Business Card
Your website is your “virtual business card” and is often the first thing your potential clients see. If your website is responsive on mobile phones, easy to use, modern and, of course, looks good, people are more likely to use your services over a competitor.
Local Designers
Many web design agencies contract out their work to people over seas who don’t know you, your business, or the Santa Barbara area you serve. Not Ameravant. Our skilled team is here to meet your business needs. Whether you need training on how to add new features to your websites or photos taken of your business or products, our Santa Barbara team is ready to help you grow.

Take Control of editing your own content
Many traditional web development companies require you to have a content maintenance plan with them, forcing you to request changes to your website. We prefer to empower our clients with tools that let them avoid the feeling of waiting on a company to update important features of your website. It’s your website, and you should be in control.
For FREE, we will teach you how to edit your content
You’ve probably heard the term “CMS” before; it stands for content management system. What does it mean for you? We put you in control of nearly every aspect of your website’s content without the need to understand how to write code. We enable you to take full control of your text and images, making it easier for you to change a paragraph of text on your “About Us” page, or add a new photo to a slideshow you’ve made for a company event.
How It Works
Our Design Process
1. Discovery
We meet in person or via Zoom to review everything – from your current website, your competitors, your logo and any other materials, review Search Engine Optimization, and establish a strategy for you.
2. Wireframes and Layouts
The first step in the web design process is to create wireframes. Wireframes are sketches of what the website will look like and how the different elements will be arranged. They help to organize the layout of the website and make sure that all of the necessary elements are included.
Once the wireframes are complete, it’s time to start creating layouts. Layouts are more polished versions of the wireframes, and they include all of the necessary design elements like fonts, colors, and images.
We review other websites to get an idea of what you like and compare it to your biggest competitors
3. Development and Design
Once the layouts are finished, it’s time to start coding them into a website. This is where the designs are turned into HTML and CSS code that can be used on a website. We can review various design options. We will create several variations of custom elemnts like buttons, forms, calls to action, and menus.
4. Review and Edits
The last step of the process is to review the website designs and make any needed changes or edits. Once your website looks good, we show you how to edit it. You can add anything you want to your website and it will be simple for you to quickly create new pages, blog posts, or a portfolio.
4. Quality Control & Go Live!
1. Website quality control is the process of making sure that a website is up to par before it goes live. This means checking to make sure that all the links work, the images are correct, and the text is formatted correctly.
2. It’s important to have a good website quality control process because it makes sure that people have a good experience when they visit your website and all redirects from your old website are accounted for.
